Responsibilities

Success Criteria:

Each province has its own nuances when it comes to taxes and benefits. You’ll lean on your prior Canadian experience to hit the ground running with bi-weekly payroll processing and day to day benefits administration.

Pride yourself on an eye for detail? Great! Your focus & proficiency with payroll software will be vital as you navigate our systems. Our employees and your peers will rely on you for verifying time off/time-card entries, transmitting/receiving payroll files, and mailing pay checks.

If you thrive on managing multiple priorities, responding to employee questions, resolving issues, and staying cool under tight deadlines, you’ll fit right in. By administering Canadian benefit programs, such as RRSP, LOA, workers comp, new-hire setup, and direct deposits you’ll add value on day one.

Qualifications

  • Highly energetic positive personality; collaboration is in your DNA
  • High School (GED) is required, a degree is preferred
  • 5+ years experience Canadian multi-provincial payroll and benefits administration makes you a VIP candidate
  • Experience with ADP and PeopleSoft gives you a head start on our current systems

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with MS Office software, specifically Excel
  • Clever problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Detail focused and precise
  • Excellent customer service, organization and time management skills

While this is a highlight of what you’ll do, what you’ll get is pretty great too:

  • Excellent compensation & benefits
  • Career path planning & mentorship
  • Award winning work/life balance
  • International business exposure
  • An amazing team of colleagues and leaders
