Overview

Amplifon Americas, a leader in the rapidly growing hearing care industry has a demand for diverse, authentic, creative and dynamic talent.  We are seeking a temporary Event Planner to assist in the development, organization and management of conferences, conventions, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, fundraisers, trade shows, and other Amplifon events to meet the quality expectations of Amplifon and its Business Units.  This position is covering an LOA and is expected to start November in November and end in late March.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and execution to ensure event success. Manage and execute all program elements including registration, housing, food & beverage, transportation (air & ground), VIP requirements, tickets/invitations,  and product/brand provisioning

  • Coordinate meals, travel, hotel accommodations and activities for the attendees. Prepare nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards, logoed attire, and awards.  Effectively manage event supplier and partner relationships.  Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as necessary
  • Create, manage and maintain event registration and communication campaigns for assigned events
  • Assist in the creation, design, and development of corporate events, fundraisers, incentives and special events to support Amplifon goals and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative services to create and produce internal and external event communications campaigns, including invitations, registration materials and documentation, operational plans, reports, signage, name badges, welcome materials and other documentation as required
  • Responsible for adhering to established budget for each event
  • Where applicable, conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities

Qualifications

  • Innovative and team oriented individual who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment and maintaining relationships within all levels of the business
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 7+ years experience
  • Experience with attendee web registration systems such as CVent 
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% or more including international

 

Required proficiency with tools:

  • Cvent or other Event Management System
  • Microsoft Office
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
