Service Technical Representative Trainee-Miracle-Ear

An estimated 36 million Americans are hearing-impaired, and that number will continue to grow as the population ages. Miracle-Ear® feels this number is far too high, so we’re looking to train the next generation of Hearing Care Professionals to overcome this rewarding challenge.

The purpose of the position is to manage the technical aspects of hearing aid maintenance, repair and set-up; procedure preparation for hearing aid devices. This person will thrive in a service to integrity based sales role.

Minor travel will be required in and out of training for this role. The Apprentice will train and float between the Deptford NJ and Turnersville NJ locations.

You do not need Hearing Health Care industry experience for this position; We will train the right person! What Our Service Technical Professionals Do Every Day:

  • Utilizes knowledge and sales experience to easily recognize sales opportunities. This position will require adaptability with sales and services skills and abilities.


  • Receive and initiate inbound and outbound calls for service appointments


  • Patient care is our outmost concern. A passion to provide extraordinary levels of customer service.


  • Cleans ear molds and hearing aids. Participates in the management of hearing and/or speech impaired patients by assessing their hearing aid status, installing batteries, checking for proper operation, inserting aids into patient's ears, and teaching patients on customer care.


  • You can create the best journey for the patient regarding the way they will hear with hearing aids. We do this through detailed explanations and counseling.


  • Reviews post-hearing aid fitting procedures and follows up with patient to determine proper course of action to facilitate repairs or request future appointments


  • Can display strong technical skills. Performs trouble-shooting checks on malfunctioning hearing instruments to determine if problems can be corrected or instrument must be sent out for repairs. Makes hearing aid component repairs on hearing aids and communication devices. 


  • Capabilities to problem solve and work independently when necessary. Strong communication and sales abilities are preferred.


  • You have a keen ability to interact professionally with patients and team members is mandatory.
