Those who excel in customer service know that listening is the most important part of their job.  Amplifon Americas has a strong demand for a diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic Account Manager on our Amplifon Hearing Health Care team who will keep an open ear to build and strengthen relationships.

Almost every business says they’re growing rapidly; we’re approaching light speed! You’ll spend the first 90 days learning about our industry, understanding health insurance trends, and asking the right questions so you can add value for your clients.

You’ll fit in quickly balancing open-ended and pointed questions to discover client’s obvious and hidden needs. This can help you exceed future expectations as well. You’ll also be the “go-to” person for assigned accounts, owning strategic direction, action plans, and keeping leaders/teams up-to-date with progress reports. Strong project management skills will allow you to hit the ground running quickly as you manage different priorities.

 Education and Experience Requirements:

  • B.S./B.A. degree preferred or 10 years of equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of working with large health plans and payors in an Account Management role
  • Business development and client growth experience

Required Skills:

  • Past success in an account manager or sales role (a VIP candidate will have relationships with health plans or national carriers
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry and plans
  • Solid project management with effective follow-through and organization skills

  • Experience preparing annual customer action plans and business reviews
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a wide range of internal team members and external customers
  • Ability to manage customer and staff relationships, ensuring promises are kept and that expectations are managed
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Salesforce required
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • This person can live in any part of the US but needs to be comfortable working remotely and traveling when needed to visit key accounts (35% travel)
