    While it’s trendy to outsource your accounting to a third party, once you hit a certain size it’s dangerous.    Amplifon Americas, a leader in the rapidly growing hearing care industry, has a strong demand for a diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic Sr. Accountant. 

     

    In this role you’ll lean on your analytical skills and thorough knowledge of the general accounting principles to enhance our ability to support retail operations. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Success Criteria:

     

    Your curiosity will be an asset as you prepare month-end account reconciliations and financial reports. As a subject matter expert in retail accounting, you will add significant value supporting the acquisition process and interpreting data to make strategic recommendations.  

     

    Are you as comfortable with teams as you are with numbers?  Developing financial reports with key stakeholders will help with short & long-term forecasting. Partnering with leaders will also give you insight into the intricacies of our business.  

     

    Lastly, you’ll work in a department that thrives on open communication and outside-the-box ideas.   Through analytics, collaboration and teamwork your contributions will help us achieve our goal of giving the gift sound to millions.  

     

    Qualifications

    •  BA/BS degree in accounting 
    • 3-5+ years of accounting experience required  
    • General Ledger experience required, JD Edwards preferred. 
    • Advanced Office skills; able to design Excel workbooks necessary to analyze data and present findings using formulas, lookup, tables, pivot charts, etc. 
    • Thorough knowledge of general accounting methods, principles, and the ability to apply this knowledge creatively in situations where procedures are not well defined. 
    • Broad understanding of overall sales, accounts receivable and inventory transactions 
    • Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills 
    • Ability to focus on details and perform functions with accuracy
